Michaele-Sue Goldblatt

Michaele-Sue Goldblatt is a Registered Social Worker who began her career in Child Welfare and Adoption. She has extensive experience in working with Families, including Divorcing, Blended, and Stepfamilies. She remains committed to Children and Families and has worked in both the public and private spheres.

Over the past fifteen years, Michaele-Sue has specialized in Loss, Grief & Bereavement, with a subspecialty in Infertility, Miscarriage, Stillbirth & Neonatal Death.

She offers a compassionate and sensitive space for a bereaved person to freely express sadness, despair, and rage at the ‘unfairness’ of it all and provides support and insight as mourners try to rebuild their lives after a devastating loss. ‘Loss’ is not only loss by death; Michaele-Sue also works with people suffering the loss of a limb, of health, of work, or of a relationship.

Michaele-Sue offers counselling within a psychoanalytic framework. She works with you to face your issues and pain and to start to build healthy coping strategies. Counselling / Psychotherapy can help you understand your needs and help you arrive at a place where you can live your life without fear, especially of past experiences and trauma.
