Julie Myers

Julie Myers is a Registered Social Worker, working and residing in Sault Ste. Marie.  She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Julie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology as well as a Masters of Social Work Degree. She has been working in the social services for over thirteen years, focusing on the disability sector for the last nine years. She primarily supports adults who have sustained traumatic and acquired brain injuries, providing services from a biopsychosocial perspective. Julie has completed training and workshops in a variety of areas, including, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, trauma informed practice, as well as a number focused on acquired and traumatic brain injury.  Julie works and has experience in both the public and private sector in the local community.
