Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion

Presented by Sue Cook and Lori Ann St. Louis

What Is It?

We all hear the words “brain injury” and “concussion”. We are more aware of these injuries in our daily lives whether at work or in our leisure activities. Injuries can affect our ability to function in daily life and changes can be subtle yet impactful. How does this injury affect an individual’s abilities and what can be done to help.

Target Audience

Anyone who wants to understand brain injury and the implications of living with, or supporting someone, dealing with this situation.

Why It's Important

People who have sustained a brain injury may have their life altered in sudden and significant ways. Family members or significant others are also affected as they must learn to negotiate these difficulties.
