Sue Tassé

Sue is a Bilingual Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists.  She is an active and certified member of The Ontario Association of Mental Health Practitioners (OAMHP) and has held positions of President / past-President with the Association’s Provincial Board of Directors.  She is also a Registered Certified Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Practitioner (CPRRP) with Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Canada.

In 1994, Sue graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Laurentian University, and later in 2020, graduated with a master’s degree in Leadership from Guelph University. She has also completed the Advanced Play Therapy Certificate Program through the Canadian Association of Child and Play Therapy in 2004. Sue has over 28 years of professional experience in the social service not-for-profit sector providing counseling/therapy, assessment, planning, and the delivery of services to children, adults, and their families within an evidenced informed clinical practice. She has worked extensively with local school boards, child Psychiatrists, as well as many other community agencies.

Some of the modalities that she applies in treatment include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Art, and Child Centered Play Therapy. As learning is a lifelong journey, she continues to expand her knowledge base in new and promising practices to provide the best person-centered services.
