Occupational therapy uses assessment and treatment to enable people to live a full life. They focus on identifying and eliminating the barriers a person faces after an injury or illness and helping them attain independence.  Occupational therapists work with clients to adapt their activities, environment and skills so they can live happy, productive lives.

Goals include:

  •    Increasing function
  •    Enabling a person to perform activities in home, at work, and in the community
  •    Recovering or regaining independence
