Melanie Wylie has 19 years of experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist in Windsor, Ontario. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Brock University followed by completion of a Master of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario.
Melanie has worked primarily in the area of paediatric rehabilitation at the John McGivney Children’s Centre in Windsor. Melanie has provided assessment, treatment, and consultation for clients with various diagnoses including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, cancer, Autism, Down Syndrome, motor coordination difficulties, and genetic disorders. She is accomplished in working with families coping with both congenital and acquired diagnoses and in helping them learn to overcome the barriers they face daily. Additionally, Melanie has extensive experience working with multidisciplinary and community teams that include doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, school personnel, psychologists, social workers, and many other professionals. Melanie is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario as well as with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists in Ontario.
