Marie Stéphannie is a Speech Language Pathologist registered with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (#6663). She is a Graduate of Laurentian University with a bachelor’s degree as well as Master of Health Science Degree, both with a Specialization in Speech Language Pathology. She possesses extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adult neurogenic communication disorders within a number of service delivery models including in-patient rehabilitation and community care. She is also experienced in offering speech and language services to school aged as well as pre-school aged children with developmental disorders (i.e. Autism, various syndromes, etc.) to facilitate the acquisition of communication skills as to optimize functioning in educational and everyday settings. Additionally, this Clinician has experience in bedside swallowing assessments and intervention as well as in providing alternative and augmentative communication intervention. Marie Stéphannie is knowledgeable of the mandate, governing legislation, and service delivery parameters associated with various sectors including: automobile insurance, short- and long- term disability, WSIB, Canadian Military, CCAC and direct consumer services.
