Kelly Smith is a Registered Social Worker, licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. She has received a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor.
Kelly has received additional training and certification in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and is a Certified Trauma Professional. She has completed her training with the Canadian Association of Play Therapy and is currently a Play Therapy Intern. She has also completed her training to become a Sand Tray Therapist.
Kelly works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, and specializes in providing trauma-informed counselling for motor vehicle accident victims and their families.
