Katherine is a Case Manager whose enthusiasm, knowledge, and communication skills foster a pro-active approach amongst her teams. She has earned a bachelor’s degree with majors in both Psychology and Philosophy, and an honours diploma of Social Service Work combined with over 12 years experience working with people of all ages. Katherine has been recognized for her competence (having received the OBIA Award of Excellence in 2017 and being nominated as Case Manager of the Year twice), and actively attends conferences (including out of country) to expand her knowledge and skill base.
However, even more important than her formal education is Katherine’s ability to relate to clients in their everyday lives and quickly implement the right strategies to create meaningful solutions. She has excellent relationships with health care professionals, service providers, insurance adjusters and lawyers throughout Ontario and believes strongly in building effective teams. Her knowledge of the insurance system allows her to advocate incredibly well for her clients. As the mother of 3 boys, Katherine is organized, efficient – and, she has a sense of humour.
