Emma Gard

As one of the newest members to the Abilities Team, Emma Gard is an Occupational Therapist Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists (COTO) and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).  Emma has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Therapeutic Recreation with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. Her clinical experience ranges from rehabilitation and mental health to hand therapy. Prior to her masters, Emma spent 3 years working in long-term care. She prides herself on creative thinking, recognizing that every case is as unique as the individuals involved.
