Carole has 22 years of combined clinical experience working in hospital-based mental health programs and in community-based rehabilitation; predominantly with clients having sustained a brain injury, musculoskeletal injuries, or who are experiencing mental illness leading to functional impairments. Carole relocated from London to her hometown of Sudbury several years ago, and promptly resumed beloved northern activities, such as hiking, paddle boarding, fishing and snowshoeing. During the course of her career, she has enjoyed teaching in various settings, such as university programs, community groups and most recently at Canadore College. She has also chaired a provincial occupational therapy group in developing resources, academic objectives and standards related to delivering occupational therapy to persons experiencing mental illness in their return to work goals. Carole was able to obtain her registration as a psychotherapist in 2018. She currently receives referrals to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation within several sectors; such as the automobile insurance sector, long-term disability and Workplace Safety & Insurance Board.
