Veemi Chouhan is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and Health Studies Co-op at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus and later completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto St. George Campus.
She is experienced in providing services in the areas of community home safety assessments, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) rehabilitation, seating and mobility, stroke rehabilitation, palliative care, and chronic disease management. She provides services to a variety of demographics including adults and seniors experiencing physical, cognitive, and neurological changes or limitations. She engages in continuing education, having obtained her Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorization, certificate to practice musculoskeletal acupuncture from Acupuncture Canada, and certificate to apply Polyvagal Theory practices for clinical outcomes.
