Justin Desroches

Justin graduated Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Physical Education and Health with a specialization in Health Promotion in 2014. He completed a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Health at Laurentian University in 2016. He went on to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy where he completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Western University in 2018.

Justin sits on the board of directors with the Brain Injury Association of Sudbury and District (BIASD), a division of the Ontario Brain Injury Association. He received specialized training at Parkwood Institute’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation program and has since developed a passion for this area of practice. He has experience treating clients with a variety of cognitive, physical, visual and vestibular impairments. He also has experience providing cognitive behavioural therapy and addressing psychosocial difficulties.

Justin is born and raised in Northern Ontario and was eager to practice in this area. The core philosophy behind Justin’s practice is authenticity and empowering clients to be actively involved in the care they receive. He continues to attend ongoing professional development education workshops to further develop his skills to strengthen his clinical practice.
