Jen James – Case Manager

Jennifer James has been conducting biopsychosocial and vocational assessments for individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages since 1989. Services include individual and family education, case management, rehabilitation counselling and/or employment counselling services. The type of service provided is dependent upon the identified need of the individual being served. In October 2016, Jennifer joined the Case Management team at Abilities Rehabilitation Services in the role of Rehabilitation
Consultant (Case Manager).

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Carleton University College. Her post graduate training has included Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Level 1 and 2 (Laurier University, courses in negotiation, Level One Program in Home and Community Based Rehabilitation (Brock University), Level Two Certification in Neuro-behavioural Interventions (Brock University), employment retention strategies and counselling techniques. Jennifer has specialized training and extensive experience in case management and vocational rehabilitation counselling. Her experience has been gained in a variety of settings, including community-based programs, educational and vocational rehabilitation facilities.
