Annemarie McDonough

Annemarie is a registered occupational therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. In 1991, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Major) and Gerontology (Minor) from McMaster University. She started her career in in-patient physical medicine before slowly transitioning to community-based practice. Annemarie has extensive experience working with clients with functional limitations due to acquired brain injury, orthopaedic injury, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorder. She especially enjoys developing and implementing practical programs for reactivation, community-reintegration and graduated work return. She has a strong interest in environmental modification and barrier-free design and has taken college level courses in building construction. She is an authorizer for mobility devices with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Assistive Devices Program (ADP).
